DC1 – (UNITN) will determine the functional connection between chromatin compartmentalization and nuclear mechanics in CPs. DC1 will develop MSC-based models of CPs by adopting CRISPR\/Cas9 technology to insert truncating mutations in the causative genes of CPs. DC1 will characterize the obtained MSC-based models concerning chromatin organization, nuclear architecture, and mechanics. DC1 will also assess the responsiveness to mechanical cues stimuli controlling MSCs lineage commitment.
